DJ Bacon, I have no idea who you are, but I do know this:
Somewhere around 3 years ago I started to get into the trance scene. One of the first songs that amazed me was Darude's Sandstorm which was getting heavy radio play around then in the States, and naturally, wanting to hear more, I hopped on a torrent and downloaded the cd Before the Storm (well in fact the torrent was listed as dj bacon's remix of Before the Storm, but at the time I figured it was all the same). At first I was thought some of the tracks were a little boring (I hadn't really gotten very much into electronic music yet) but upon further listening I noticed how well the songs were blending together, each song transitioning perfectly into the next. Since I was in the process of crossing over from the jamband scene and one of the things that makes jam music so great is their segues, this was very impressive to me. After a little while I grew to absolutely love that cd. So a few months ago I lost the cd and figured, no big deal, I'll download it again. I just finished downloading it earlier today and all I could say upon hearing it was BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Not that the songs were any different, but the order was, and there were no transitions, and this DEFINITELY made a difference.
The original cd is still alright. In fact it's above average. But I'm sure if it had been like this when I downloaded it in the first place I would have overlooked it... in fact it could have made the difference of me getting further into the scene or not. What you did to the cd (reordering it and transitioning the songs) was maybe only a minor change as far as music production goes, but the way you did it made the difference between an above average cd and a masterpiece! I can't tell you how many times I have listened to this remix and not grown sick of it.

Oh, and by the way, I have no idea what I would have done if your site wasn't here, so thank you for the site and thank you for making your directions in English even though I believe it is not your native language (because it's the only language I speak).
